Short Story Contest Awards

September 30, 2012 - Winner's of O. Henry Magazine's 1st Annual Short Story Contest were announced in a ceremony at the Downtown Library Sunday afternoon. Three winners plus honorable mentions were awarded in three categories: Young Writer, Student, and General Non-Student. Winners were given a chance to read their stories aloud and will have their stories published in future issues of the magazine. Congratuations to all.

  • Ashley Atkins, 2nd Place Winner in the Student Category for her story "I Call Him Runner".
